1. What the website is for

The website describes Alloy, a data operations platform built by Building 8, and lets you request early access or ask us about a connector. You may use the website for your own business purposes and for evaluating whether Alloy is right for your team.

2. Early-access requests

Requesting early access is not a purchase. It does not create a tenant, a subscription or any obligation on either side. We will contact you to talk about your sources and what you want to land first, and any onboarding, pricing and use of the platform are set out in the agreement you enter into with us at that point. The website describes the platform as it is being built; the features and connectors available to you are those set out in your agreement.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the website in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its database or the systems behind it;
• use automated tools to scrape, copy or overload the website, beyond the ordinary indexing done by search engines and AI assistants;
• submit information that is false, misleading or that you do not have the right to share; or
• interfere with the operation of the website or its security features.

4. Your submissions

Information you submit through the website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that anything you submit is accurate and that you are entitled to provide it. By submitting an early-access request or an enquiry you allow us to use it to respond to you and to follow up.

5. Intellectual property

The content of the website, including its text, graphics, logos and software, belongs to Building 8 or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print pages for your own use and share links to them. You may not reproduce, adapt or republish content commercially without our written permission. The Alloy and Building 8 names and logos are our trade marks.

6. Links to other sites

The website links to other organisations' sites, including LinkedIn. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Disclaimer and liability

Subject to section 7, the website is provided as it is. We take care with the content but do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free, or that the website will always be available. To the extent the law allows, Building 8 is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website or its content, including indirect or consequential loss and loss of profit or business.

9. Changes

We may change these terms and the website at any time. Changes take effect when posted here, and the date at the top will be updated. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the changed terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute about them will be dealt with in the courts of New South Wales.
